Having this wonderful opportunity to share with you our blessings and worries, I want to thank all of you for your prayer and financial support of our ministry to the Lord. It is honor for us to serve the Lord together with you. May He richly bless you and generously provide your every need!
Analyzing this year, we cannot help wondering with how much strength God gives us and how much He helps us to do everything – in ministry, family and helping others. Praise God!
Speaking about our family, recently we found out that God wants to bless us with one more baby. But at the same time we faced great trial because my wife Lyudmila got sick with an infectious disease – borreliosis. Our doctors don’t know how to treat this disease, especially for a pregnant woman. Our hope is in God only, therefore it is our great need that you will support us in prayer.
Despite the fact that we have lots of difficulties, we feel special spiritual exultation. The Lord strengthens us spiritually, builds His church, and it is a great encouragement for me as a minister. Brothers from our church already participate in the ministry in neighbor villages. We even decided to send our two preachers and our youth twice a month to other village churches. Their aim is to encourage the congregation and help in evangelistic ministry.
I also would like to share with you the development of our prayer ministry. We keep holding the prayer meetings before every Sunday worship service. We also have overnight prayers and recently we have practiced our first special fast and prayer before Communion service. It became a great blessing for us. While we have been having our overnight prayer, the Lord already answered and made miracles. Thus, our sister Dusya prayed for repentance of her brother, who had been sick for a long time. In a day before his death He invited us to his home and repented with tears. Then he thanked us for those of us that came to share the Gospel with Him.
Leader of our prayer ministry, sister Tanya, prayed for God to add new people to our prayer group and after a short period of time, three new people joined this group. Praise God!
We pray for Galya (she recently repented) and her family, and we already see changes in Galya’s and her mother’s behavior.
We also have started the women’s prayer ministry in our church. We have prayed for this need for a long time because we had no sister to lead this ministry. But God gave desire and zeal to sister Olesya and now every Wednesday, sisters gather for the women’s service – they have fellowship, pray and study Bible (photo 1 – leaders of the women’s and prayer ministries).
I also would like to ask you praying about our ministry in the orphanage, held by our sister Oksana, because it is very difficult and important work among both children and staff of this orphanage (photo 2).
Dear brothers and sisters, please, pray for the ministry of our day center. It is attended by children from the needy and crisis families, therefore they are very undisciplined, nervous and cruel.
Often we have not enough wisdom and strength for this ministry. Although we see that God is changing the hearts of these children, sometimes they fight, break church property and disrupt the lessons. Therefore we ask you to support us in your prayers for these children and for this ministry, because it is very important. We need your prayers greatly.
