Buryachok, 2014 3rd Quarter Updates

Dear friends,

The warmest greetings to you in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ!

First of all, I want to thank you for your prayer and financial support of our ministry to the Lord. We are so much grateful to you for your care and for your prayers for my wife and her health. We received your help for her treatment, for which we are very much grateful to you. My wife cried when she found out about that. The Lord takes care of us through His children. It fills our hearts with gratitude and joy.

The treatment of my wife have continued for almost a year. Currently she’s taking one of the strongest antibiotics, which affect her body greatly. She also has to take many other medicines to protect her body, therefore your support means very much for us. Please, pray for my wife to stand this treatment, so that this disease will be completely healed.

At the same time, this year has been very special for us, because when we go through suffering, we have special relationships with God, and it is so wonderful! When doctors didn’t know how to help, we learned trusting Him. It is the most important.

Speaking about the church ministry, here we have blessings too. We had a blessed tent evangelization. Our entire church spent the entire week serving God in this missionary project. They visited the houses of unbelievers and preached the Gospel. Almost 50 people prayed the Prayer of repentance. Now we want to visit them, to continue studying the Word of God with these people. We pray, so that among these people will be found those, with whom we will be able to start a group of Bible study.

We are also very much grateful to the Lord for this opportunity for children and youth to visit several Christian camps, after which children had a desire to know more about God. One 16 year old girl Julia came to me after camp and told me about her desire to be baptized. Photo 1 – church camp for children and dysfunctional families.

In addition to the church ministry, in fall we together with brothers helped our older lonely sister preparing for winter – chop firewood, clean the garden and do other works. It is a great encouragement for these sisters and is a great testimony for the neighbors. Bible teaches us to show our faith in actions (photo 2).

In the end of my letter I would like to share with you our plans and dreams, so that we may pray for them together.

Please, pray for my wife Lyudmila, who has started teaching in public schools the preventive lectures on the topics: abortions, smoking, drug addiction, alcohol, etc.

This year we also want to finish the repair in Prayer House (photo 3) to have a place for our teenage ministry. We plan to start this ministry with the class of playing table tennis. We also want to do is to change heating in our church from gas heating to wood heating. We want to do it due to the growth of prices for gas and unstable political situation.

It is so painful to look at what is going on in our country now. It is our dream so that peace may come, but everything is in God’s hands. Please, pray for Ukraine!
