Dennis & Lynda McBride

The McBride's

Pastor Dennis came to Bethany Bible Church in January of 2012 with extensive pastoral ministry experience that included eight years as an Associate Pastor at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, CA with Dr. John MacArthur, and four years as Chaplain and Publications Editor at “Grace to You” in Valencia, CA.

Dennis is an expositor of God’s Word, and is committed to faithfully and consistently proclaiming its truths from our pulpit and in personal discipleship so that believers will be mature and more fully equipped to minister to one another and to a world desperately in need of God’s saving grace (Eph. 4:12).

We welcome our Lake Havasu City friends and neighbors to visit us at 9:30 am each Sunday morning for our Adult Sunday School class, and at 11:00 am for our morning worship service. Our evening Family Bible Hour begins at 6:00 pm.

How to Receive Christ

Receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the most important thing you will ever do. Receiving Him involves:

Acknowledging that God is holy and just, and that you have broken His Holy Law and are therefore a sinner in need of a Savior:

Ecclesiastes 7:20 - "Indeed, there is not a righteous man on earth who continually does good and who never sins."

Romans 3:23 - "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Placing your faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, trusting that He died as a full payment for your sins.

Isaiah 53:5 - "He [Christ] was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities."

Ephesians 2:8-9 - "By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast."

Confessing Jesus Christ as the Lord and Master of your life.

Romans 10:9 - "If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved."

It would be our sincere pleasure to answer any questions you may have about receiving Christ.
